French's® Green Bean Casserole
Prep Time: 5 min. Cook Time: 35 min. - 6 Servings
175 mL milk
0.5 mL pepper
284 mL can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
500 g frozen cut green beans, thawed*
79 g French's® Original French Fried Onions
In 2 L casserole, mix all ingredients and 1/2 can French Fried Onions.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) 30 min. or until hot; stir.
Top with remaining 1/2 can onions.
Bake 5 min. or until onions are golden.
*Or 2 cans (289 mL) cut green beans, drained.

SLOW COOKER: Beef In Barbecue Sauce
1 Onion Chopped
2 Tablespoons Flour
700g Stewing Beef
397g (14oz) Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
3 Tablespoons Wine Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
2 Tablespoons Flour
700g Stewing Beef
397g (14oz) Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
3 Tablespoons Wine Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
- Blend all ingredients except meat and onion in liquidiser then heat up in a pan and pour over meat and onion in slow cooker.
- Leave for 6-10 hours.

LET'S BAKE: Banana Bread
4oz Margarine
8oz Sugar
3 Eggs
3 Bananas
8oz Self raising Flour
Walnuts (Optional)
8oz Sugar

- Mix all ingredients together and put in greased lined 2lb loaf tin
- Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 180°c

LET'S BAKE: Chocolate Brownies
200g butter or margarine
500g Golden Caster Sugar
80g cocoa powder
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
100g self- raising flour
100g plain chocolate cut into small chunks
- Heat oven to 180°c
- Line a shallow tin with baking parchment
- Melt butter in a pan over low heat
- Stir in cocoa, breaking up any lumps.
- Lightly beat eggs in a large bowl. Add sugar and continue beating until smooth.
- Combine cocoa mixture with eggs and sugar, folding in to mix thoroughly.
- Add vanilla essence
- Gradually add flour through a sieve, folding in until you have a sticky mixture.
- Finally add chocolate chunks
- Pour mixture into prepared tin and bake for 30 minutes.
- The brownies are ready when crispy on top and gooey in the middle
- Leave in the tin for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack

LET'S BAKE: Buns
100g (4oz) Self Raising Flour
100g (4oz) Margarine
100g (4oz) Sugar
2 eggs, beaten
100g (4oz) Margarine

- Cream margarine and sugar. Fold in egg and flour a little bit at a time.
- Bake at 190°c, 375°F, Gas Mark 5 for 15-18 minutes.
